Process

After speaking by phone with Dr. Ball, you will be matched with a clinician on staff who can best meet your needs. Once that match is established, you will be scheduled for a comprehensive psychiatric diagnostic evaluation with that particular clinician to gain a better understanding of the presenting difficulties. At the end of that session, you will discuss initial clinical impressions, treatment recommendations, any needed additional referrals, and make a plan for contacting any outside resources that would inform treatment. You will have a chance to ask questions and discuss next steps.

Collaborative Care

We work closely with psychiatrists, pediatricians, schools, neuropsychologists, and other providers to ensure the patient receives comprehensive care.

Family Work

We make it our policy to not treat anybody in a vacuum. If we are working with a child or teenager, we make it essential that the family and/or parents are very involved in treatment. Parents/legal guardians can choose the level of outside involvement they desire (from schools etc.), and this can be an ongoing dialogue with your child’s clinician as to what might be clinically indicated and recommended.
